• Backpacking Trip

  Saturday - Sunday, November 22-23

  Backpacking in the local mountains: Gould Mesa Campground, Angeles National Forest

  Two groups will go: experienced backpackers will leave the Legion Hall at 7:00 am and will be shuttled to Switzer Picnic Area off Angeles Crest. Beginners will leave separately from the Legion Hall at 9:30 am and will meet up with them at the campground.

  There will be time to work on Scout advancement as well as explore the Arroyo Seco. Estimated return time to the Legion Hall will be around 10:30 to 11:00 am (plus the usual cleanup time at the Hall).
